DUBINSKY, Sergey was Born in Donetsk and served in the Soviet Army. He fought in Afghanistan, in North Ossetia, in the first and second Chechen wars, in Africa, and the Donbas.

Since May 2014, he fought in the Donbas against Ukraine under the pseudonym Khmury. Initially, he was a deputy of Igor Girkin (Strelkov) as deputy commander of the “Donetsk People’s Republic” (DPR) army. Then, in July 2014, by order of the Russian security agencies, he created a special forces company and an intelligence department. Later, based on these units, he formed the military intelligence department of the “DPR” administration and headed it.
In this position, he was engaged in looting, banditry, robbery, torture, carried out military cover for an organization that was involved in the distribution of drugs in the territory of the “DPR”, and theft of expensive cars from local residents for their subsequent resale in Ukraine.
According to the Security Service of Ukraine and the international group Bellingcat, he arranged the delivery of the Buk missile complex from Russian territory to Ukraine, which shot down the Boeing-777 of the MH17 flight (Amsterdam - Kuala Lumpur) on July 17, 2014, near Torez, Donetsk Region.
