On September 30, 2019, Anna Laukhina changed the sentence to actor Pavel Ustinov in the case of a dislocated shoulder of the National Guard officer on a rally on August 3, 2019 (part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation) from 3.5 years in prison for a year on probation. The actor himself and his defense asked to acquit him since during the arrest he did not resist and did not attack any police officers. On the video of Ustinov’s detention, it was clear that he just stood still and looked at the phone. However, Judge Laukhina and other members of the panel of judges found Ustinov's guilt proven.
